Spirit Herbs
Leading seasonal ceremonies in public parks presented challenges. How does one speedily smudge a few dozen people? I mean really smudge, not just some passing wisps of smoke from a smoldering smudge stick. The result is Hibachi Herbal Magic, featuring instructions on how to use a hibachi full of charcoal and herbal blends for group purifications, offerings and sacraments.
Purifications immerse the body in a cloud of smoke and come in a sage-based solar/fire blend; a lunar/water smudge blend especially nice for women’s and lunar ceremonies; and one for releasing past antagonisms.
Offerings are aromatic herbal sprinkles that release a cloud of incense smoke. Herbal recipes honor the Moon, Sun and four elements. A spirit food blend is perfect for connecting with ancestors and nature spirits, and a tree temple blend serves as a communion with the World Tree.
Sacraments contain powerful psychotropic drugs and are for immersion or inhalation. Use with caution and never without the recommended lung buffer blend. Blends include aphrodisiac, trance and deep meditation.
