Moonlady News 101
Moonlady News is a fully-moderated announcement list, not a chat line. All notices are submitted to a moderator who reviews them and sends approved ones on to the list.
Important Caveat
Gleaning email addresses from those who post notices to the list and sending them unsolicited emails, ie spam, or sending them sales pitches not related to the notice posted, is a breach of trust and will get you booted off the list. However, members are encouraged to web-weave and network among themselves.
Getting Notices
Moonlady News subscribers receive up to 25 emails daily, usually sent in batches of 5 or so emails at a time. Sound like a lot? Don’t worry! Notices are clearly headlined, so you only open those you are interested in.
It also comes in digest style: all of a day's messages combined into one email. Digest is more of like a newsletter. The headlines are grouped at the top. You simply click the one that interests you and -- viola -- you're there. Handy "back to top" links let you return easily.(If your Digest doesn't do this, go to your MyGroups page, click on Edit Membership. Go to Message Preference and mark Fully Featured.)
Or you can eschew email delivery and read messages at the YahooGroups web site instead. Please see details at Members’ Toolbox: Delivery, where you can also learn how to change addresses, unsubscribe or put emails on hold while on vacation.
Please read all emails that start with "MSG from AMY". These are important messages that you as a list member need to read.
