More on the Billing Process

If your notice requires a fee, you will be emailed an invoice in return. It also serves as your receipt. Members on the list fewer than 4 weeks must prepay for their notices.

Notices are invoiced under the email address you submit the notice from. That email address is essentially your account number. IF YOU VARY FROM IT YOU NEED TO LET ME KNOW. I file invoices by that email address.

Fee Rates

Fee is $5 per email sent to the Moonlady News list for:

~ services for hire
~ office space for rent
~ garage sales or items for sale
~ events that charge admission (except non-profits)
~ free events that promote the sale of products or services

If you pay for multiple notices at one time you receive a discount. Please see The Pre-Paid Deal: 5 for the Price of 4.

How to Pay

You can pay by cash, check (payable to Amy Martin), or by credit card (through PayPal).

The Pre-Paid Deal: 5 for the Price of 4

It’s a bulk thing – buy 4 and get the 5th notice free. What most people do is pay $20 on a $5 notice, giving them 4 additional notices. Some folks who submit frequently pay for several at a time, with the same 4 for 5 rate. The moderator often kicks in a freebie for consistent buyers.

There is no time limit to use up the pre-paids. But there are over a hundred folks on the pre-paid list. So please remind the moderator by putting “PRE-PAID” at the end of your subject line when you submit your pre-paid notice. If you’ve wondering if you have any pre-paids left, just email the moderator.

Readers & Non-Profits: Please Donate to Moonlady News!

Moonlady News is operated foremost for the reader and community, and secondarily for those who submit notices for commercial enterprises. It is YOUR list.

READERS: If you look forward to Moonlady News every day, PLEASE consider contributing $10 to $50 a year for the service. A reader-appreciation drive is conducted every April, but funds are accepted anytime! If you can’t give moola, then items or gift certificates for services are appreciated.

NON-PROFITS: Churches, sanghas, groups, associations and other non-profits are a mainstay of the list. Moonlady News is happy to help! But an occasional donation would be appreciated. This is especially if you submit notices regularly about workshops/classes/seminars held at your building to which the majority of funds go to the presenter, not the church. Many non-profits buy $20 ads in the Winter SolstiCelebration program as a way of showing support and networking. Or a suggested rate might be $1 to $2 per notice, far less than the usual fees.
