It takes a village to create a SolstiCelebration. We are blessed to have a crew of volunteers and professional who donate their services each year. But from time to time schedules clash. Here’s what it takes to make an event of this size work. Please choose a task and make it your own!

Promotion

~ Stage lights operator
~ Stage audio manager (set mics on performers, move mic stands and monitors)
~ Stage manager (get performers ready, move objects and people on and off stage)
~ Stage decorator
~ Video director (live 3-camera shoot)
~ Video graphics

Sanctuary Wranglers

~ Pass out programs before event
~ Collect and recycle leftover papers in pews
~ Transform music pit into a seating area and reset it afterwards
~ Move the ceremonial gates from east Dallas to the location in a pickup and set them up with the assistance of the gate elves. Return the gates to east Dallas afterwards.
~ Post-event clean-up crew

Table Wranglers

~ Event table (answer questions, take donations, tell folks where the bathrooms are)
~ Performers’ table (sell CDs, give out brochures)
~ Donations table (box up food pantry donations afterward)
~ Flier table (collect leftovers afterward and recycle)
~ Help is also needed setting up tables and chairs before and putting them up afterwards
~ Post-event clean-up crew

~ Arrange tables and chairs in the venue's Fellowship Hall
~ Help prepare food and beverages
~ Array it attractively on tables
